I get out of bed Dreams still in my head Searching for something to wear There’s my favorite pants And my other favorite pants But mom says I can only pick one pair I go into the kitchen Open up the fridge and I can’t decide what to eat I start to get mad But then comes my dad He says take advice from me You have to listen to your gut (what?) Yes I really mean it You have to listen to your gut (huh?) Yes, it’s a thing It’s that voice inside of you That’s sure of what to do And no one else can tell you what it means I make some toast and jam And then I ask my dad what does that saying mean It means to make a quick decision And trust my intuition And listen to that voice inside of you And next time you get stuck Don’t let it mess you up` Just close your eyes take a deep breath The answers inside And there’s so many times When only you will know best You have to listen to your gut (what?) Yes I really mean it You have to listen to your gut (huh?) Yes, it’s a thing It’s that voice inside of you That’s sure of what to do And no one else can tell you what it means You have to listen to your gut (what?) Yes I really mean it You have to listen to your gut (huh?) Yes, it’s a thing It’s that voice inside of you That’s sure of what to do And no one else can tell you what it means Listen up listen up listen up now……

Hey everybody have you heard the news I got a pair of incredible shoes They look so cool when they’re on my feet I could wear them at home or when I’m walking down the street People all over try to catch a view They want a good look at my incredible shoes Not found at any store you can find They’re my special shoes and they’re one of a kind They have glitter and they’re gold With little flashing lights I can fasten them with Velcro Or tie the laces tight They have little lightning bolts So I run extra fast They’re the greatest pair of shoes I’ve ever had Hey everybody there’s no time to lose Come check out my incredible shoes Feast your eyes on these new kicks They’re just for me they’re the perfect fit If I had one wish I would always choose To have a sweet pair of incredible shoes A different one for every day I’ll make them special in my own way They help me dance and help me run On the sidewalk or on the grass They have different color laces And wheels tucked in the back They have springs down on the bottom So I jump extra high When you see what my shoes can do You won’t believe your eyes My sneakers have some speakers and they’re kicking the jams they make a beat that shakes the street with booms and some claps My sneakers have some speakers and they’re kicking the jams they make a beat that shakes the street with booms and some claps They have buckles on the top with a plushy sole inside my names written on the bottom so you know that they are mine They got little tiny pumps That make me swifter on the ground These shoes are just the greatest I’m the luckiest kid around

I like to think I’m special, but I have a hard time in school I can’t pay attention, understand the lessons or follow the rules There are always moments when I have to jump up and dance I look like I suffer from a bad case of having ants in my pants They say I never do what I should But I’m good Just misunderstood and I try I try to fit in I’m a comp I’m a comp I’m a complicated I’m a comp I’m a comp I’m a complicated I’m a comp I’m a comp I’m a complicated kid I tend to get so nervous any time I turn out the light The problems of everyday things keep me up late at night People say my clothes are wacky and never let me play in their games I’m always different than all the boys and girls who just act the same Maybe I’m a little strange But I won’t change All the little things that I am Here’s the thing about me I’m a comp I’m a comp I’m a complicated I’m a comp I’m a comp I’m a complicated I’m a comp I’m a comp I’m a complicated kid

Hey! I wanna learn everything I’ll start today I’ll start today Oh There is so much to know Woah oh oh Woah oh oh I learn something new every day (Did you know dogs don’t sweat? That’s why they pant!) I learn something new every day (Did you know that the sun is 4.5 billion years old? That’s really cool!) I learn something new every day (Did you know rats like to be tickled? How do you know? Scientists figured it out!) Wow There is so much around To discover right now If I look around Look In a field or a book A tree or a nook Or under your foot I learn something new every day (Did you know humans have tongue prints just like we have fingerprints?) I learn something new every day (Bet you didn’t know ice cream used to be called cream ice.) I learn something new every day (Hey guess what? Sneezing with your eyes open is impossible! Let me try, Atchoo!! I can’t do it!) (Did you know octopuses have three hearts? Did you know you can’t smell anything in your sleep? Here’s a fact, humans have 206 bones in their body and 54 of them are in your hand! Bet you didn’t know peanuts aren’t nuts, they’re legumes! Did you know it rains metal on the planet Venus. And speaking of rain, there are 2000 thunderstorms on Earth every year! Oh, and I have the secret on how to bring dinosaurs back to life its really cool thing. Are you ready to write this down? All you have to do is…….)

We can often be confused About our world and our place in it Every person has a view Of what makes each of us a good fit Everybody has a chance To say they care a lot and prove it The worlds for people like you and I It takes more than one to move it And when the world seems too small to find a place Go out and try something new It’s when we start to make a change You discover what you can do And all along You’re right where you belong You’re right where you belong You’re right where you belong You belong right here Go out and find your part You’re able and you’re worth it Don’t let choices drag you down Some are good and you deserve it And It may seem like some things don’t make sense that’s how its supposed to be your story can be the best one told No one knows just how it ends And all along You’re right where you belong You’re right where you belong You’re right where you belong You belong here You’re right where you belong You’re right where you belong You’re right where you belong You belong right here
